At Windsor Baptist Church, we believe loving our neighbors means finding practical ways to make a difference right here at home.
During our annual Backpack Sunday, our church family comes together to collect school supplies for children at Windsor Elementary School who may begin the school year without everything they need. From notebooks and pencils to other classroom essentials, each item is given with a simple message: “Our community cares about you.”
Backpack Sunday is one of the ways we put our faith into action by supporting local families, encouraging students, and partnering with our community.
Because sometimes serving others begins with something as simple as making sure a child walks into the classroom ready to learn.

Faith That Reaches Beyond Our Doors
At Windsor Baptist Church, we believe following Jesus means putting our faith into action. Throughout the year, our church family looks for meaningful ways to serve our neighbors, support our community, meet practical needs, and share the love of Christ beyond Sunday morning.
A special part of that commitment is Operation Christmas Child. Each fall, our congregation comes together to pack shoebox gifts filled with toys, school supplies, personal care items, and plenty of love. These simple gifts become opportunities to share the hope of Jesus with children and families around the world.
Whether we're serving across the street or helping send a shoebox across the globe, the mission is the same: love people well and make a difference in the name of Christ.
